It is with regret that we inform you of the death of Junius Horne, class of 1949; father of: Frank (1978), Junius (1980), Andrew (1981), and Adrian (1983).
Rest in peace
Peacefully at home surrounded by his adoring family and after the tender care of the exceptional staff in St Joseph’s, Shankill; beloved husband of the late Patricia and devoted father of Frank, Junius, Andrew, Elizabeth, Adrian, Amanda, Emma, Joanne, Jeremy, and Simon. Sadly missed by his dearly cherished twenty-nine grandchildren, his loving sister Joan (Priestman), his treasured cousin Margaret Horne, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, relatives and wide circle of wonderful friends.
Reposing at home in Wicklow on Friday evening from 5pm to 7pm. Funeral Mass on Saturday (20th November) at 10.00 am in Church of The Holy Name, Beechwood Avenue, followed by burial in Deansgrange Cemetery. For those who would like to follow the Mass online please see the link :
