SCT FINAL – ST. MARY’S vs BLACKROCK
It doesn’t get bigger than this.
St. Mary’s are into the Leinster Schools Senior Cup Final for the first time in 18 years, and the school will be chasing its first Senior Cup title in 24 years.
This group of players has shown huge heart, skill and resilience to reach this stage and now face a huge challenge against Blackrock.
We would love to see a massive turnout of past pupils, families and friends of the Mary’s community to support the team.
📍 Tuesday 17th March (St. Patrick’s Day)
🕐 1:30pm Kick Off
📍 Tallaght Stadium
🎟 Tickets: https://www.ticketmaster.ie/bank-of-ireland-senior-schools-cup-dublin-17-03-2026/event/18006465B4B1D8AE
If you can book seats, try for stands 305 - 307 opposite school terrace. Please wear blue and look out for members of the Past Pupils Committee handing out Mary’s flags outside the stadium before the match.
After the Match
Following the game, the team will return to St. Mary’s College where supporters will gather on the front pitch to welcome them back.
After this, St. Mary’s RFC have kindly opened the entire clubhouse for past pupils and members of the wider community. Food platters will be provided by the Rugby Club and the Past Pupils’ Union, and everyone is very welcome to come along.
Please note this gathering in the RFC is intended for past pupils and adult supporters rather than underage school students.
We hope to see a huge Mary’s support on the day. Your backing means a lot to the team. Wear blue. Bring your voice. Let’s get behind them.
